MOREE Junior Rugby League will host a ‘Boars Go Pink for The McGrath Foundation’ fundraiser next weekend.
The fundraiser will be held at Boughton Oval where all players will be wearing pink and spectators are encouraged to join in.
There will be a raffle, face painting, barbecue, pink cupcakes and pink balloons to purchase and all proceeds will go to the McGrath Foundation.
The purchased pink balloons are to write a loved one’s name and message who has been affected by cancer and release it during a minute of silence before the under 16s match.
There will be a minute silence prior to the under 10, 12, 14 and 16s games to remember all the people that have lost their lives to the battle of cancer.
