Fairview chairman, Chris Humphries, said the website was very important in providing communication.
“It will provide valuable insight into the quality of care that exists at Fairview,” he said.
“Aged care is and will always be very challenging but what we want to show is how important families, staff and management and the myriad of community organisations have been in meeting these challenges in the years ahead,” Mr Humphries said.
Fairview CEO, Brett Arthur, believes the website will also get the community more involved in Fairview.
“Activities like the fete will be put on the website, along with pictures and information about it,” he said.
There is also links to government websites and applications for any residents who would like to live at Fairview.
“The website will be updated regularly so that the community is kept up-to-date on everything that is going on here,” Mr Arthur said.
“It will also benefit residents of Fairview’s families who don’t necessarily live in Moree anymore and want to see what’s going on,” he said.
There are also email addresses for anyone who wants to contact the Fairview residents.
“This is something the board has been working on and talking about for a year now.
“It is crucial for this website to work so that Fairview can communicate better with the community,” Mr Humphries said.
The building of the website was done completely by volunteers.
