Three people received treatment for stab wounds after an early morning incident near Moree this morning.
Around 3am, four men were involved in an altercation with a number of men near a roadhouse on the Newell Highway at Bellata, south of Moree.
Three of the group, aged between 24 and 26, suffered relatively minor stab wounds. The other man, aged 26, received a swollen mouth after being hit.
The victims managed to drive from the scene but broke down about 20kms south of Moree.
Police and paramedics were called and the men were taken to hospital for treatment. They have since been released.
Investigations into the incident are continuing by Barwon detectives who are looking for men.
