Secretary, Karen Munn, hopes the event will raise enough money for the zone showgirl competition that will be held in February next year.
“Zone will be held in Moree next year. We will be hosting 23 other towns so we are trying to fundraise a bit of extra money to make the day worth it,” she said.
The trivia night will be held in the Moree and District Services Club auditorium starting at 6.30pm.
“We’ve already had a few tables booked which is excellent,” Mrs Munn said.
On the night each table will be named a different breed of cattle and asked questions about music, movies, cattle, Moree, the annual Moree Show and general questions.
“I made the questions myself and Brendan and the kids will be helping to collect each team’s answers,” she said.
For all teams who are thinking of competing, Mrs Munn suggests to pay close attention to the little things in Moree.
If you cannot fill a table the Moree Show Society will help you out and fill one for you.
The cost of the night will be $12.50 including finger food and a free drink.
“It will be a fun night. People enjoy that kind of thing and there will be games in between transitions so it gives everyone the chance to be a big kid again,” Mrs Munn said.
Tables need to booked by tomorrow by calling Karen Munn on 0429 651 270.
