Local business people and community members attended the launch.
The pink theme also celebrated ConnectPink’s partnership with the McGrath Foundation, raising money for breast care nurses in regional areas.
Champion advertising manager Jodie Bell helped familiarise local business representatives with the site.
They looked at a typical business and individual page and learnt of the many options available to them.
The website offers social networking and business opportunities specifically tailored to women in regional areas.
“It was fantastic that a number of local businesses took the opportunity to join us for the launch and have a look at this exciting new concept as we move toward a more dominant digital era,” Mrs Bell said.
“This concept has great reach and provides great financial flexibility. It can be adapted to suit many different budgets.”
The guests were also treated to a pink-themed morning tea and Petta Melbourne won a McGrath rose as the lucky door prize.
