MOREE Junior Rugby Club hosted its annual junior rugby carnival on Sunday at Weebolla Oval.
The players had to contend with mostly wet and cool conditions.
The weather and soggy ground did not keep the keen rugby players away with teams travelling from all over the Central North Rugby Zone to attend.
Hundreds of spectators came along to watch the rugby and enjoy the day.
The clubs played at least three matches against each other in under eight, under 10, under 12 and under 14 age groups and there were skills and games for the under six age group.
The carnival is the only home fixture for the junior club this year.
The day was very successful and a lot of fun for all the children and their families involved and was a great reward for all the training by the children and hard work by coaches, committee and families.
