The Scot’s fair was a huge success last Friday.
Organiser, Suzanne Bouliopoulos, was very pleased with the crowd.
“There were about 120 people on the daym a full bus even arrived,” she said.
Tables and chairs were filled inside and out the McIntosh Hall.
“The weather was beautiful; the whole day was just fabulous,” Mrs Bouliopoulos said.
The stalls were a huge success with the cakes selling out early in the day and the trash and treasure table looking quite bare by the end of the event.
“We were so glad everything sold out as the money is going to a new hall for the church,” she said.
The ladies in the kitchen were busy getting the meals prepared for the lunchon and when the meals were served the pipe band were ready to play their bagpipes.
“The bagpipers played on and off for about an hour; they were fantastic,” she said.
The organisers are still counting the proceeds from the day.
“I would just like to thank everyone who helped and made this year’s Scot’s Fair a wonderful day,” she said.
