The two 20-year-old riders will be jetting off to Jakarta next Monday to compete in the Indonesian Motocross, Supercross and Supermotard Championships.
Sutherland spent six weeks in Indonesia last year riding for Suzuki in the Supercross Championships, finishing second overall.
“It was a great experience; they are mad over there. I love the sport,” he said.
Soon after his return Sutherland was offered another contract with Husqvarna for eight months of racing, training and coaching.
“When they first asked me I had my doubts,” Sutherland said.
“I didn’t really want to race over there by myself again.”
He was then asked if another local rider was capable of racing on the Indonesian circuit.
“Trent was the first bloke who came to mind. we have been riding together since we were kids and I knew that he would love the experience,” Sutherland said.
Loader has been racing bikes for more than 10 years and has always dreamed of one day racing on the big stage.
“Both of our parents have put a lot of time, money and effort into us over the years which has given us this opportunity,” Loader said. “I’m very excited; it’s a childhood dream come true.”
The boys will be riding brand new 2012 TC 250 Husqvarnas.
They will be decked out in full racing gear, have free accommodation, food and fuel. They will also get paid to race.
If they are good enough they could also clean-up on some serious prize money.
They will be based in Jakarta and travel across Indonesia to race in all three events.
Both riders will compete in a total of 22 races between April and December.
They will have a six-week break in the middle of July until the end of August where they will fly home to Australia to visit family and friends.
Both riders have performed well on Australian soil but believe the chances of picking up sponsorship in Australia are slim.
“There are too many tough riders to compete with in Australia,” Loader said.
“They are bringing international riders out here who are eating up the competition. It’s hard for an Aussie to get a ride,” Sutherland added.
Not only will the boys be racing and training but they will also be taking on coaching roles for some up and coming Indonesian riders.
The local lads will be firing up their engines for the first round on April 1.
That gives them three weeks to prepare.
With crowds between five and 10,000 people filling supercross arenas, the adrenalin is sure to be pumping for the 20-year-old Aussies.
Loader says he is very greatful to be given the opportunity.
“I’d like to thank Nick for giving me this once in a lifetime chance. I’m going to race hard; give it my all,” Loader said.
Both Loader and Sutherland look forward to coming back to Moree “faster and fitter than ever”.
*Supermotard is motorcycle racing on a circuit that alternates between three types of track; flat track, motocross and road racing.
