Delicious cupcakes are being made by Teresa Jurd-Meehan after hours and no doubt they will be going fast.
All proceeds will be going to flood affected victims in Moree.
The cupcakes will be sold from the Lunchbox Cafe every day for the next few weeks.
All the ingredients are bought by the cafe and made by the staff.
For only $3 you can sink your teeth into one of these mouth-watering, delightful treats and donate to a worthy cause.
“We thought it would be nice to give something back to the community, particularly to people who have been seriously affected by the floods,” Mrs Jurd-Meehan said.
In half a day the cafe had already raised $140.
“It would be nice to make about $1000 but we don’t really have a figure; I guess every little bit counts,” she said.
Mrs Jurd-Meehan believed it would be too hard to decide on one family to give the money to so they will be splitting the money up and spreading the love.
“We will turn the money into gift vouchers from places like Target and Retravision and select some families who are in need of some help.”
Customers have already offered to donate slice and cupcakes to help the cafe with their cause.
The cafe raised $614 for the Queensland floods in just three days.
Let’s hope they can blow that target out of the water.
