Traffic was interrupted for several hours along a section of the Newell Highway on Tuesday morning after a car towing a caravan rolled.
The four-wheel-drive vehicle rolled about 10km south of Gurley, near Waterloo Creek.
The driver and the vehicle’s single passenger were shaken but sustained no injuries in the accident.
Police have ruled out speed and alcohol as factors, although the investigation is ongoing.
The caravan, valued at about $60,000, was totally destroyed.
Both lanes of traffic were reopened around midday.
In a separate incident, about 6.30pm Saturday a boat being towed by a southbound vehicle on the Newell Highway became detached.
The boat and trailer collided with a prime mover travelling north.
The collision occurred about 250 metres south of the Pennys Road exit.
Emergency services attended the accident although no-one was injured.
Traffic on the Newell Highway was stopped in both directions for a short time until diversions were put in place on a side road.
The heavy vehicle, trailer and boat were towed from the scene.
The Newell Highway was reopened to all traffic around 10.30pm.
